This module will help you with worksheets that contain two images placed side by side containing a different number of objects and the kid is supposed to identify the one that has more and the one that has less. The illustrations are crafted by our team and are way more intricate and meaningful for an extreme level of engagement.
Draw more/less objects than the number shown
Make the worksheets even more fun by providing a theme for the kid to draw in. The exercises need the kids to read the number shown below the image and then draw more or less objects than the number shown. This doubles up as identifying numbers and then doing mental addition and subtraction.

This is another interesting twist to the regular more or less worksheets. This is where you have two placeholders placed side by side. One has a certain number of objects. Use the ruler to measure the objects
Reading a ruler or scale is a concept that’s taught early on and teachers and parents want kids to go through a lot of measuring with ruler exercises. Thing is it has been difficult to create these worksheets…up until now! Not any more, because this module is designed to give you measurement worksheets involving rulers at the click of a couple of buttons.
Measure the object by non-standard blocks
While measuring using rulers and tapes is a good exercise, it’s also important to grasp the concepts of length using non-standard items like blocks, circles, cubes etc. This reinforces the concepts of measurement in a very relatable way.
Draw an object that is x units (standard/non-standard) long
This is where we turn the exercise the other way down. What we do is give a length and ask the kid to draw an object that is a certain unit long. For example your question could look like drawing a line that’s 4 blocks long or drawing a pencil that’s 6 cm long. Your users will absolutely love the drawing and measuring education combination you deliver via this module.
Measure the length and then identify long/short
This is where the level of complexity is increased by a notch. The users are supposed to measure the length of the objects provided and then write down the answers. After that’s done the kids are supposed to look into the numbers and identify the object with the longer/shorter length.
Draw a longer or shorter object
Infuse a bit more activity into your worksheets by combining drawing to identifying longer and shorter object exercises. In these worksheets there would be a base object and then the kid would be required to draw the same object such that it is either longer or shorter than the base object.
Count long and short objects
This is an interesting twist on the longer and shorter identification exercises. Here the long and short identification is combined with counting. Kids count the number of occurrences of the longer and the shorter objects and report the same in the answer blocks provided.
Circle the longer/shorter objects
This variant of the long and short object identification involves kids having to circle the longer/shorter object from a group of objects provided inside of a bounding box as shown in the adjacent example. You could ask the kids to underline, check or cross the items as well.
